The Old Granary with its rustic charm has been beautifully restored to a superior 5 star standard with traditional beams and lovely oak flooring. All rooms have wonderful country views over the Fowey Valley and surrounding open countryside, and from upstairs you can see the river with sailing and pleasure boats going up and down the estuary to visit other creeks and inlets.
The Old Granary has 4 bedrooms all en-suite to sleep 8/10 people plus cots.
Granite steps invite you into a light hall way that leads to 3 bedrooms; 1 double bedroom with en-suite, WC, wash basin and shower, and 2 bedrooms with twin or triple beds with en-suite; both rooms have their own WC, washbasin and shower.
There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The polished oak stairway leads up to a spacious living, dining and kitchen area with built in Rayburn for delicious farmhouse cooking and a very well equipped, fully fitted oak kitchen which includes a combination microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker and hob.
The living area has an electric wood burner, a 32" wide screen TV with DVD and video player. There is a radio and CD player. There are also a few children's games and books.
The master bedroom has a double bed with en-suite WC, washbasin and bath and you can wake up in the morning to a stunning view over looking the Fowey Estuary. Absolutely perfect!!
The patio doors from the living room lead onto a decked area for sitting and relaxing in the afternoon and evening sun with a cup of tea or a glass of wine and perhaps a good book. Then a wooden bridge takes you onto your very own large fenced lawn for children to play or just to sit and take in the ambience. There is also a patio area with a gas barbeque and garden furniture. All bed linen, duvets, towels, electricity, iron and ironing board, hair dryers and oil central heating are included.
A cot and highchair are available on request.
