Road

The A30 or A390 will find us, however we recommend the A30 to avoid Plymouth.

From the M5 at Exeter follow the A30 bypassing Okehampton and Launceston.

At the end of Bodmin Moor (before Bodmin town) turn left taking the sign for Bodmin, and Lostwithiel (B3268). Follow this road taking a left for Lostwithiel and also follow the Lanhydrock N/T sign. At the next junction take a left following N/T sign. At the 1st roundabout take a 1st left and the 2nd roundabout take 3rd junction off still following Lostwithiel & N/T sign. Continue on this road and at the mini roundabout turn left for Lostwithiel. Continue for approx 4 miles until the next junction and turn right towards St Austell & Fowey, after a few hundred yards turn left onto the B3269 to Fowey. Continue on this road for about 3 miles until you reach a cross-roads; here take the left turn to Golant and after you have passed a sign for the Youth Hostel on your left, look out for a sharp right bend downhill. At this bend go almost straight ahead following the road towards St.Sampson’s Church. At the Church turn sharp left into Penquite Farm.

Rail

First Great Western & Virgin & Wessex trains operate to and from much of the county. The nearest stations are Par, Lostwithiel or St Austell.

Coach

National Express offers schedule coach services to and from Cornwall.

Nearest stopping places are St Blazey, Lostwithiel and St Austell.

Air

To Newquay Airport on BA, Ryanair and Air Southwest daily.

Continental Ferry

Brittany Ferries run regular services from Roscoff and Santander to Plymouth.
