Penquite Farm is an idyllic, rural retreat offering three superior cottages, with their own private surrounds, set in a stunning countryside overlooking the Fowey Estuary. Golant is a peaceful waterside village on the River Fowey, which has traditionally been recognised as a sheltered location. Nestling beside the farm is a beautiful 13th Century Church dedicated to St. Sampson. The beautiful Port of Fowey and the historic town of Lostwithiel are just but a few miles away.

We want you to feel welcome and relaxed as soon as you arrive and a pot of tea and a homemade “Proper Cornish” cream tea awaits to help you unwind after your journey. Your choice of accommodation is stylish and comfy and very well equipped to make you feel completely at home during your stay. All three of our self catering holiday cottages have been carefully designed to meet a wide criterion.  This includes our ground floor cottage specifically built to meet M2 Mobility requirements with facilities for wheelchair users.

We are always on hand for any advice, help or assistance you may require, or even just a chat about our organic farm, the pet animals or the local area and customs.

Our location in Mid to South Cornwall makes us ideally situated for touring the Cornish North and South coasts. Cornwall offers you a warm welcome and fantastic scenery as well as wonderful places to visit with numerous pubs and restaurants for food and drink. There is always plenty to do and see: close by are golden sandy beaches, coves to explore, scenic coastal paths to walk, beautiful Cornish gardens, National Trust properties, quaint fishing villages, river trips, ample golf courses to choose from and, of course, the famous Eden Project, and Lost Gardens of Heligan on our doorstep, plus much, much more…
